Biography

Tobias Gustavsson is a Swedish song writer and producer based in Stockholm, Sweden. With a versatile style from hard rock to pop, Tobias has a commercial edge to his music that has seen him rise to the top in his native country with a multitude of chart topping tracks for a variety of artists. Most notably, Tobias won the Swedish Grammy in 2009 for "Song of The Year, 2008" with his #1 track "Jennie Let Me Love You" performed by Swedish boyband "E.M.D." which topped the single charts for a staggering seven straight weeks. E.M.D's album "State of Mind" & it's re-release "State of Mind Deluxe" which was partially co-written and co-produced by Tobias , collectively remained in the Swedish album Top 40 for fifty six weeks. In 2009, E.M.D. lead singer "Danny Saucedo" also released his own (Gustavsson written) debut album which peaked at #2 and the single "Radio" at #1. Tobias also co-wrote the debut single from Alice Svensson "Lady Luck" which peaked at #12 as well as working on the Sarah Dawn Finer album "Moving On" which reached #1 in the summer of 2009. More recently he co-wrote the new Martin Stenmarck album which in its first week landed at #10 in the Swedish album charts.


In 2010 Tobias started the year with a #1 & #2 with the winner and runner up albums from Swedish Idol. A charismatic young guy with a lot of energy, Tobias has racked up an impressive eight #1's in less than two years.


His distinctive style has credited him with hits not only in Sweden, but also Germany where he worked on the "No Angels" album, Japan (Miz), Spain (Edurne) and Mexico (Mariane Ochoa) to name but a few.
