Biography
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Paul Walton is a British motoring journalist.
His career started in 1999 working for Classic Cars magazine before moving to BBC Top Gear Magazine in 2002.
Highlights during his time at the two magazines included a twin-engined Citroën 2CV Sahara in the Israeli desert, a Ferrari 250 SWB on a closed off section of San Marino, driving a BMW 325i to Spain so it could be assessed by the then WilliamsF1 test driver, Marc Gene and taking a Gibbs Aquada amphibious car for a spin around Monte Carlo's harbour during the Monaco Grand Prix.
In 2005 he turned freelance, but kept his Top Gear links by editing BBC's Top Gear Test Drive Directory until 2011.
He currently contributes to a range of motoring, lifestyle and caravan magazines. For example the April 2011 issue of Jaguar World magazine has his test between the Jaguar XJS and Jaguar XK8 convertibles, the Spring 2011 edition of the Alfa Romeo magazine has his an article about the famous 8C racing car while in the May 2011 edition of The Moment magazine he writes about off-roading in a Land Rover Discovery 4.
