Biography
Hans Peter Fischer (born 29 July 1951 in Rosenheim) is a German cinematographer. From 1970 Hans Peter Fischer trained as a photographer and then worked as an industrial photographer. From 1979 to 1983 he was a camera assistant for the studio of the Bayerischer Rundfunk in Tel Aviv.Fischer has been friends with Franz Xaver Gernstl since 1972 and developed the format of the award-winning Gernstl reportage series together with him.In 1984 he founded the production company Megaherz Film und Fernsehen with Gernstl.
