Harlan Ware (July 14, 1902 – May 7, 1967) was an American writer renowned for his novels, screenplays, radio scripts, and short stories. His stories frequently appeared in The Saturday Evening Post. The novel, Come Fill the Cup, was adapted into a motion picture starring James Cagney in the leading role. Ware's best-known scripts were crafted for two notable radio programs: The Bartons, which he wrote between 1939 and 1941, and One Man's Family, penned from 1944 to 1959 for Carlton E. Morse. He lived in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, United States, from 1954 to 1966.'
