Anissa Meksen (born 29 April 1988) is an Algerian-French kickboxer, currently signed with ARES Fighting Championship, while most recently competing for ONE Championship. She is the reigning ISKA World K1 Bantamweight champion, reigning WAKO World K1 Bantamweight champion, former two-time Glory Super Bantamweight champion, former WPMF World Muay Thai Flyweight champion, and former French, European, and World Savate champion.WBC MUAYTHAI ranks Meksen as the #1 Super Bantamweight as of April 2020. Combat Press ranks her as the #1 pound for pound female fighter in the world as of May 2020, as well as having ranked her #1 almost continuously since July 2017, and in their top ten since November 2016 when female rankings were introduced.In 2014, Meksen was named MUAYTHAITV's Fighter of the Year, while Awakening Fighters awarded her their Fighter of the Year, Inspirational Fighter of the Year, and KO of the Year (vs. Adi Rotem). In 2017, she was also Combat Press's Fighter of the Year, and Glory's Newcomer of the Year. Meksen holds notable victories over Cristina Morales, Tiffany van Soest (2X), Sofia Olofsson, Gloria Peritore, Eva Naranjo, and Iman Barlow
