Glen David Brin, Ph.D. (born October 6, 1950) is an American scientist and award-winning author of science fiction. He wrote the book 'The Postman', basis for the film directed by and starring Kevin Costner. He has received the Hugo, Locus, Campbell and Nebula Awards.
