Blanca Gladys Caldas Méndez (Bogotá, January 18, 1950) known for her artistic name Claudia of Colombia, is a Colombian singer and actress. She is considered to be one of the most important and successful artists in her country and one of the most award-winning . She was the first Colombian to sing in the Madison Square Garden cultural center of New York , and in the Teresa Carreño Theatre in Caracas; and the first popular artist to sing with the Bogotá Philharmonic Orchestra.
