Biography

Richard Charles Glouner (born August 12, 1931 in Los Angeles, California, United States; † February 9, 1998 in Newport Beach, the same day) was an American cameraman. As the son of camera assistant Martin Glouner (1909–1983) ("The Mummy"), Glouner had met and received his photographic training from childhood to the film world of Hollywood. He began his career in the early 1950s as an animation film cameraman with Walt Disney's 1955 animated classic "Susi und Strolch" (The Lady and the Tramp) Since the late 1960s Glouner has been working as a chief cameraman for a series of feature films, which, however, rarely attracted attention. In 1969, he was also on Will Tremper's Hollywood excursion "I always enjoyed it." Glouner photographed television films more and more frequently during his career.
