Hana Matsumoto (, born January 24, 1998 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan) is an actress and director of Japanese cinema, formerly affiliated with Hori Agency. Matsumoto was born on January 24, 1998 in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. She was recruited at the age of eight and began her professional activities shortly afterwards, appearing in films and television series. In addition to her work as an actress, she also began to direct home projects during her second year of high school. She attended Nihon University Tsurugaoka Senior High School and in 2014, she edited and directed the film Manatsu no Yume, which was selected as the best project in the "Eiga worldcup" of that year. She was also shown at the 2015 Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival. Her next project, Dadada Seventeen, was exhibited at the same festival in 2016, where she received the public award. In 2017, she attended the Tokyo International Film Festival by Let go of my teen days.
