Claude-Inga Barbey, born on January 21, 1961 in Geneva, is a humorist, comedian, journalist and Swiss writer. Claude-Inga Barbey was born in the Montbrillant district of Geneva. She was adopted at the age of 3 by her mother's aunts after having been placed in the nursery, her alcoholic and drug-addicted parents having abandoned her. She did not maintain any connection with her biological mother. She would only be reunited with her during the last years of her life, in the hospital, from 2016 to 2018.After attending Geneva's Higher School of Dramatic Art (ESAD) from 1978 to 1980, she participated as a humorist from 1992 on programs 5 out of 5 and Les Dicodeurs on the Swiss Romantic Radio, as well as on the television show by Lova Golovtchiner Le Fond de la canbeille.In 1996, she created with Patrick Lapp the couple of Monique and Roger in the program Bergamote (which also includes Claude Blanc and Daniel Rausis) The first Bergamote show was staged in 1998, followed by several other shows: Bergamote and the Angel (represented at Théâtre Hébertot in Paris in 2000), Bergamote, Temps des Cerises (with the arrival of Doris Ittig in 2004), Bergamote, the Modern in 2006 (with Marc Donet-Monet as a newcomer).The same year, she also participated in the sitcom seen from this angle on the Swiss Romantic Television and created a radio programme Betty which is broadcast on the waves of Radio Suisse Romande and which tells the life of a 45-year-old woman who follows a therapy with a psychologist.Betty is embodied in Doris Ittig's and her psychologist 2011, on a two-way music by Icrutti-Claude lacement.In 2007, she adapts and staged the novel by Pierre Gripari, La Sorcière du Placard aux Balais at the Théâtre de Marionnellettes de Genèvenaire, with the collaboration of Doris Ittig's and Guy Jutard's music, on a two-in-in-in-in-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the-the It is at the centre of the Swiss Radio Television's Infrared debate programme of 24 March 2021.
Claude-Inga Barbey is the mother of four children, a girl born in the early 1980s and three boys, the last born in the early 2000s. She was married for 17 years. Her ex-husband died in 2018, broke by a car in Geneva's old town. She lives in Meyrin. She was baptized at the age of 45 after feeling two years rather early a presence with which she said she had communicated by telepathy, Catholic, she said she was extremely believing.
