Manuel Dias Lima de Faria (born 1 November 1957), better known as Manuel Faria, is a Portuguese musician, composer and music producer. As a techlist, he helped to found the Trovante, in 1976, one of the most important bands of contemporary folk in Portugal, with influence in popular music and social intervention.A composer and producer of several works in the Trovante as well as for other bands and artists, he became an illustrious personality of high professional rigour and creativity in the musical and advertising media.He founded the independent publisher Dínamo Discos, in 1995, achieving notoriety with the debut album of the Da Weasel and with the compilation of several artists Espanta Espíritos.After the extinction of the publisher, in 1996, Manuel Faria created Indigo, a sound producer with great notoriety in the production of advertising jingles and in the creation of sound brands for companies.
