Beatrix Doderer (born 1966 in Darmstadt) is a German actress and cabaret artist. Beatrix Doderer was the youngest of three daughters of German studies professor Klaus Doderer and grew up in her native city. Her grandfather was the writer Otto Doderer. After graduating from high school and starting her studies, she broke off after a semester and attended the New Munich School of Drama from 1982 to 1985. Among other things, she financed this training as a cross-flötist in Christoph Marthaler's production of William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice at the Munich Residenztheater. From 1986 to 2001 she taught singing with Grete Lindinger. Her first engagement led Doderer to the then Stadttheater Hildesheim in 1986. Further stages of her stage career were the Theater Ulm, the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen, the Staatstheater Braunschweig, the Theater Erlangen and the Munich Kammerspiele. In 1999 Doderer went to the Stadttheater Bern for two years, from where she returned to Germany and accepted an engagement at the Theater Augsburg, where she was awarded the Augsburg Theatre Prize in 2003. After a guest performance at the Theater Heidelberg, Doderer worked in Austria from 2012 to 2015, at the Salzburger Landestheater and the Landestheater Niederösterreich in St. Pölten. From 2004 to 2009, she played the program Sugardaddy together with her former life partner, the actor Jörg Hube, who died in 2009, and was a member of the Munich Lach and Shooting Society in 2010 and 2011. In 2010 and 2014, she staged the programs of the cabaretist Luise Kinseher, Einfach rich and calm, before she performed for the first time in 2016 with a wedding at the University of Stuttgart. Since 2016, she has also been teaching at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz.Beatrix Doderer lives in Munich.
