The Still Alarm is a 1911 silent short film directed by Francis Boggs.The subject is the first film adaptation of Joseph Arthur's melodrama, which had debuted in New York in 1887 with great success.Selig produced the remake in 1918, The Still Alarm, directed by Colin Campbell.In 1926 it was also released under the title The Still Alarm (film renamed in Italy as The Fire Alarm), the latest version directed by Edward Laemmle.
