The script, adapted by Marcia Hatfield, is based on the English novel The strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde written by Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson. The film consists of 49 minutes of duration and employs Max Meldrum's voices as Dr. Jekyll and David Nettheim in the role of Mr. Hyde.
