Berlin film producer and director Hubertus Siegert made Beyond Punishment. The film shows how perpetrators and victims of crimes confront each other. Using three cases in three countries, he sheds light on the individual destinies as well as the legal and penal systems of the respective countries. He co-produced with ZDF/3Sat and DOCDAYS productions. There are references.
