Polar Bears: A Summer Odyssey is a 2012 documentary film produced by Arcadia Entertainment Inc. in Halifax, NS, about the polar bears of Hudson Bay, Canada. The film is directed by Sarah Robertson and Tim O'Brien and narrated by David Suzuki. The documentary premiered on April 8, 2012 as part of season 51 of The Nature of Things series of documentary programs. The documentary was filmed in 3D mostly over a 12-month period.The documentary won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Science or Nature Documentary Program at the 1st Canadian Screen Awards. Adam Ravetch won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Photography in a Documentary Program or Series.
