Plot.
Carl Hamilton has just returned to Sweden after many years of secret education in the US when Stockholm is shaken by a series of terrorist attacks. Hamilton is assigned to assist the Swedish intelligence service in their pursuit of the guilty, but at the same time works as a double agent.

Agent Hamilton is a Swedish spy thriller television series loosely based on the Carl Hamilton novels book series by Jan Guillou about Swedish secret agent Carl Hamilton. Norwegian actor Jakob Oftebro plays the title role. The spy thriller is set in the present time, with scenes from around Europe.
The series was presented at the MIPCOM in Cannes in 2019. The first season consisted of 10 episodes and began airing on 1 January 2020. The second season had eight episodes and began airing on 18 April 2022.
