Plot.

Es Dach überem Chopf (a roof above the head) is the title of a Swiss sound film written by Kurt Früh in 1961/62, based on a screenplay written together with Jean Pierre Gerwig, for the Zurich film companies Gloriafilm GmbH and Praesens-Film AG. In the leading role, the popular Bündner Volksschauspieler Zarli Carigiet played at his side. With a small role Bruno Ganz made his debut in the film.
