Deewane Huye Paagal (Lovers Gone Mad) is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language romantic action comedy film directed by Vikram Bhatt, and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala. The film features Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Rimi Sen, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal and Johnny Lever. Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi make guest appearances. An unofficial remake of the 1998 American film There's Something About Mary with some changes, the film was released on 25 November 2005 to a positive critical reception. Despite favorable reviews, the film failed commercially. Over the years, this film has been a cult-classic and has a significant and passionate fanbase.
