LOMO – The Language of Many Others is Julia Langhof's feature film debut. The film premiered at the 35th Munich Film Festival in 2017.The regular release took place on 12 July 2018.The film tells the story of a young person who makes his everyday life public on the web, so that his blog followers increasingly – also visually – participate in it and influence his decisions and decisions. Through an unusual camera tour and experimental elements, especially in the representation of the influence of the follower community, which consists of unknown persons from the most diverse cultural circles, the digital possibilities and dangers are presented very emphatically.
