Plot.
A limousine stops in front of a petrol distributor run by Beretta, who recognizes two of his old friends inside the car: President Pavanati and Senator Rossetti, once anarchist. The two invite Beretta to get on the car and lead him to a restaurant where they will eat together: both during the trip and in the local the three talk about their youth and when there was "he", Benito Mussolini, of which Beretta and Pavanati had been trusted personal secretaries.
