Filippo Brogi, director of a middle school in Val d'Orcia, wants to win the competition of the local Youth Festival, and with the approval of the city council decides to invite in Tuscany a poor African school for an upbuilding cultural exchange. It is a pity that his bidello Augusto Soreda confuses the Ghanaian city of Acrra with that bell of Acerra, and invites in Val d'Orcia a scurrified middle class whose accompanying teachers are Gerardo Gregale, former comic book teacher against the demand, and Wanda Pacini, former girlfriend of Filippo Brogi emigrated to the south to forget their traumatic break.
