Plot.
Carmela and Peter, a fisherman, love each other. He is indebted to the bone and she, to save the situation, signs a contract to perform as a singer abroad. Peter is convinced that the money to pay the creditors comes from a mysterious benefactor until the priest reveals the truth to him. Finally, the two lovers, free from all worries, marry.
