After they moved to Israel, Yitzhak's father built a turkey farm with two hands. Yitzhak hopes that his son will follow in his footsteps and continue the family tradition. His passion is fixing up junkyard cars and he doesn't like working in the turkey barn. Sarah tries to reconcile with her son, while his grandfather pushes Yitzhak to be with his son. Yitzhak thinks that Moti's refusal to work in the turkey barn was a personal rejection. He wants to impose the family farm on his son. The arrival of the uncle from America sets off a chain of events that will undermine the family harmony. Yitzhak will soon learn that his son is just as stubborn as he is. The conflict is inevitable.
Baba Joon (Hebrew: באבא ג'ון) is a 2015 Israeli drama film directed by Yuval Delshad. It was screened in the Contemporary World Cinema section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. It won the award for Best Film at the 2015 Ophir Awards and became Israel's entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards but it was not nominated.
