Plot.
One day, Koyomi Araragi encounters the horrifying vampire, Kiss-shot Acerola-orion Heart-under-blade A.K.A. the "King of Apparitions." He saves the fatally wounded Kiss-shot by offering his blood at the expense of his own life as a human. Now Koyomi has to face the vampire hunters to retrieve Kiss-shot’s limbs which were taken by these hunters..

Kizumonogatari 1: Tekketsu-hen (-) is a Japanese horror animated film directed by Tatsuya Oishi and Akiyuki Shinbo. It is based on the light novel Kizumonogatari, a pre-school of Bakemonogatari and part of the Monogatari franchise, a series of novels written by Nishio Ishin and illustrated by Vofan. It was released in Japan on January 8, 2016. It was succeeded by II Kizumonogatari: Nekketsu-hen, whose release was in the summer of 2016.
