Borneo Headhunters was filmed at the upper reaches of the Kayan River. A well-known story of their mythical world is staged against the backdrop of impressive images from the life of the Kenyan-Dayakers. The actors are not professional. Three years ago, the explorer, painter, ornithologist and ethnographer Victor von Plessen filmed his famous film ISLAND OF THE DEMSES in BALI. A. His wife is Marie-Izabel. Freiin von Jenisch is an ethnologist. Through the film Die weie Hlle von Piz Pal, Friedrich Karl Dalsheim, the writer Gregor von Rezzori, and the cameraman Richard Angst became known.
