Plot.
The Immenhof has been closed by officials, awaiting auction. In the meantime, Angela has died, so Jochen is now a widower. Oma Jantzen and Angela's younger sisters Dick and Dalli live with him in the forester's house. In order to save the manor house, Dalli has started a "pony circus" with the village children in the barn, while Dick has given up hope of Ethelbert ever returning.

Wedding on Immenhof is a 1956 German colour film by Volker von Collande. It is the second film of the Immenhof trilogy, which came into the cinemas between 1955 and 1957. He was preceded by the story about The Girls from Immenhof (1955), the conclusion of the trilogy are the holidays on Immenhof (1957). The main roles of the sisters Dick and Dalli are again occupied with Angelika Meissner and Heidi Brühl. Margarete Haagen is once again to be seen in the role of Grandma Jantzen and Paul Klinger as Jochen von Roth The screenplay is based on a novel by Ursula Bruns.
