Plot.
A darkly comic tale of a young man who comes face to face with his huge family - a variety of eccentrics, all of whom are hiding secrets from their pasts. At a family reunion Raymond is presented with a copy of the family tree and is absolutely amazed by the complexity of his family ties.

Perfect Strangers is a television drama first aired in 2001, produced for BBC Two. It was written and directed by Stephen Poliakoff, and starred Michael Gambon, who won a British Academy Television Award for his performance, Lindsay Duncan, Matthew Macfadyen, Claire Skinner, and Toby Stephens. Anton Lesser and Timothy Spall also appear. The drama received two Royal Television Society Awards and a Peabody Award. It was also nominated for the BAFTA TV Award for Best Drama Serial.The action takes place during a large family reunion at a hotel.
It aired on BBC America under the title Almost Strangers.
