Plot.
The film intertwines Jean- Philippe Rameau's score with a unique selection of Casanovian texts drawn from the Italian translation of Cahusac's libretto that the famous Venetian made in 1752 and with fragments of memories drawn from his latest writings read by Galatea Ranzi. The one that comes out of it is a figure, far from the stereotype of the seducer, returned to the era of the Worlds that Casanova has fully interpreted.
