Since he finds no job as an engineer, Peter works as a detective. But immediately the first assignment turns out to be extremely successful. He is supposed to follow Clarissa, the beautiful, happy daughter of the wealthy Mr. Pernrieder, because according to the parents she has chosen the wrong friend, the actor Cyrus. Since Peter does not take in the trace of the love couple inconspicuously, he is soon confronted by Cyrus. However, the argument leads directly to a joint visit to the pub, since the young men understand each other extremely well. Too stupid that Peter has also fallen in love with Clarissa. Before there can be jealousy between the men, fate helps in the form of the dancer Isolde, into which Cyrus immediately forgets. Insolent and in Love (German: Frech und verliebt) is a 1948 German romantic comedy film directed by Hans Schweikart and starring Johannes Heesters, Gabriele Reismüller and Charlott Daudert.It was shot at the Bavaria Studios in Munich. The film's sets were designed by the art director Hans Sohnle.The film was made in 1944 but it did not receive a national release until 1948. In 1950 it was distributed in Austria by Sascha Film.
