The Ocean Hop is a 1927 film directed by Walt Disney. It is an animated short film, the sixth with protagonist Oswald the lucky rabbit. It was distributed by Universal Pictures on November 14, 1927. It was then reissued on April 24, 1932 by Walter Lantz Productions, with sound effects and music by James Dietrich, and this is the only version available today. In the short film it appears, for the first time in this series, Pietro Gambadilegno (not yet in the form of a cat), who will later become a recurring enemy of Oswald.
