Plot.

It stars Raj Kapoor, Mala Sinha, Rehman in lead roles. The film is an adaption of Fyodor Dostoevsky's novel Crime and Punishment.It was the fourth highest-grossing film in India of 1958 and was declared a "Hit" at the box office in India.
