Two dangerous criminals, Bachman and Willi, want to leave their home town of Berlin as soon as possible after a failed robbery. On their way to the airport, however, they lose one of their pistol magazines in Freddy's taxi. Now they not only want to get rid of Freddy, who finds the magazine, but also attack Freddy's good friend and colleague Paul. Freddy knows nothing about all this and goes to a party with his girlfriend, the flower saleswoman Ilse. Even as an attack on him goes wrong, Freddy still doesn't know what danger he is in. Only when he finds out about the attack on Paul on the radio, a light opens to him. Now he is determined to bring down the perpetrators, alone to avenge the crime against his friend.
