Plot
Humans were almost wiped out several hundred years ago. It's not unusual for a titan to be several stories tall, have no intelligence, and eat human beings for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humans were able to survive by walling themselves in a city that was protected by high walls. The city has not seen a Titan in over 100 years. The city walls are destroyed by a Colossal Titan that appears out of thin air as teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa watch. The two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows to take revenge on all of mankind.
