Südstadt is a German television film by director Matti Geschonneck from 2018. The drama was created according to a script by author Magnus Vattrodt and is the eighth collaboration of the two filmmakers. It tells of the everyday work and relationship of three friends who live as neighbours in a house community in the inner city district of Cologne and whose life concepts are put to the test by experiences with depression, career, children, side jumps, divorce and death. In the main roles Anke Engelke, Matthias Matschke, Andrea Sawatzki, Dominic Raacke, Bettina Lamprecht and Alexander Hörbe are shown.
