Porzus (1997)

Plot.
In February 1945, around twenty Catholic partisans from the Osoppo Brigade surrounded the villages of Attimis, a hundred of Garibaldini and Gappist communists and killed them in groups of three or four at a time in eleven days. 1 Italian film on the shadow side of the Resistance. Mediocre, but not horrifying or unworthy. The screenplay of Martinelli and Furio Scarpelli makes a substantially correct and exhaustive reconstruction of the accident and its causes. It is weighed down by rhetorical and demonstrative interventions, supported by the duet/duello Moschin-Ferzetti, a little trombone in style, is an inflated, not strong film.
