Miniserie of TV (6 episodes) that adapts the homonymous novel of Blasco Ibáñez. The action takes place between the late 19th and early 20th century in a village of the Valencian albufera, in an environment of fishermen and ricers. The main protagonists are 'The Doves': the grandfather, the best fisherman of the lake; the son, who has consecrated his life to gain land to the water, carrying land on his boat to obtain, palm by palm, a land to cultivate, and Tonet, the grandson, the black sheep of the family, whose conduct causes the dishonor of all.
