The script is based on the official documents of the process to which Mariana Pineda was subjected. It tells the last days of the life of a woman who gave herself to the liberal cause. It was condemned and justified on May 26, 1831 with the noblest of the three rituals that contemplated the execution of the garrote, after rejecting the forgiveness offered to her colleagues of cause.
