Carolina is married to a man who commits fraud and blames her, causing her to run away from home with her son. The only solution Carolina can think of at the time is to go see her twin sister, Celeste, who is a nun. The only option she offers is for them to switch places and for Carolina to go to the place where they can't find her, a town called Monteverde.
