The soap opera revolves around Eva Soler (Edith González), a strong, determined and impetuous woman who is more than ready to face any challenge. But her life is interrupted by a series of cruel betrayals that require her to make decisions that lead to increasingly difficult paths. Her trials include the infidelity of her husband Armando (Jorge Luis Pila) and her suggestion that it is her fault, her understanding of the true sinister and envious nature of her best friend Marlene (Erika de la Rosa), and her relationship with her niece, who later becomes Armando's lover.
