Aránzazu Calleja (born in Bilbao, Vizcaya, 1977) is a music creator and music therapist, as well as a member of the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences and a violin teacher at the J.C. Arriaga Conservatory. She studied Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country and Musical Therapy, expanding her musical training in Barcelona at the Music Workshop and at Pompeu Fabra University, and later at the "Berklee College of Music" in Boston, United States. In Fine Arts she met Borja Cobeaga (with whom she collaborated in all her works to date), Haritz Zubillaga and Nacho Vigalondo. In addition to the collaborations mentioned with Borja Cobeaga, they highlight the electronic and dark composition of the film "Psychhonautas", as well as her collaboration in the soundtrack of Akelarre with Maite Arrojaregi, which led them to win Goya for Best Music in 2021.
