A story of opposing worlds, cultural divides, different ways of seeing life, which aims to reflect the daily lives of migrants who try to break into a foreign and often hostile world. A story that tells the story of two women who come to live in the United States: one pursuing a dream and the other fleeing a nightmare. Sofia Villavicencio is the new wife of the state governor, Ernesto Martínez. On the day of the inauguration, a desperate woman approaches Ernesto and asks him, in front of all the media, to help him find his daughter, accusing one of his advisers, Juan Estevez of being behind his disappearance. This event is the first to make Sofia suspect of the true identity of her husband. Little by little, Sofia will discover with the help of Joel Benitez, member of Interpol's infiltration that her husband's employees and especially Paula Duarte, Ernesto's mistress and accomplice are involved in a network of child trafficking that Ernesto took advantage of to finance his campaign that brought him to the power of his government. After escaping persecution and the hands of her enemies, Sofia flees Ernesto and crosses the border with her daughter, Alondra to win Los Angeles. From there she will do everything possible to end the network of child trafficking, but now without Joel's support, since he believes that Sofia killed her sister. On the other hand, Eliza is a baker and housewife. She decides to settle abroad with her children and husband, ignoring that he leads a double life. Before crossing the border, Sofia gives a hard drive to Eliza. It contains enough evidence to blame Ernesto. From that moment on and forever, Eliza and Sofia join their lives to be able to help each other, although each person has his story "On the other side of the wall".
