In the six-episode documentary series "China's Treasures", the British art show host Alastair Suker explores the north and south of China, and places himself in the culture and art of ancient and modern China. He visited major museums in China and their precious collections, and explored different themes in each episode, including family, food and technology. The program will present precious cultural relics such as the Western Zhou Dake Ding with a history of more than 3,000 years at the Shanghai Museum, the three-color camel-carrying figurines of the Tang Dynasty at the Shaanxi History Museum, and the huge Yushan Mountain of Yushan in the Imperial Palace in Beijing. This journey through ancient and modern will help Alastair understand the stories behind the cultural relics and the inheritance of traditional culture in modern China.
