To give a fair review please allow me to explain my mind set and what my intentions were (in light of those facts you will see that my review will be very revealing). I have never especially liked martial arts films or appreciated any of them. I found this by chance, and had the idea that it might just be bad enough to break my really bad insomnia spell (4 days with no sleep and 8-12 hours work each day)I was dangerously exhausted, and I assumed it would be the perfect sleeping pill. Hence my expectations were below low (and that is a important piece of fact to consider). I started watching .. Somehow as if by magic….. I did not notice the time passing! I was absolutely mesmerized! I didn’t hear the doorbell even! I had not heard any of the fifty or so missed phone calls! I was not even sleepy any more! So in all honesty this movie is not good, it’s not great, it’s so far above that. It’s captivating, mesmerizing, vividly intense and outstanding. I never thought a movie would make me feel like that. I watched it nonstop.. And normally I don’t particularly like watching movies. The actors were not like actors they became their character.. so now I admit, it’s changed me so much I am looking for more Korean gems. But this movie in one word: WOW
