We are Kaiser is a satirical talk show of the ORF, which was broadcast between 2007 and 2010 as part of Thursday night. More than 3sat could also be seen in Germany and Switzerland. Measured by market share, it was the most successful of ORF 1's own production broadcast weekly between 2007 and 2010. Since the end of 2010, new special episodes have been broadcast quarterly. In December 2019, ORF announced that the format with two carnival audiences on 7th and 14th July 2019 had been broadcasted. . Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, two video audiences were shown on 17 and 24 April 2020 under the title Eine Krone gegen Corona – Das Kaiser-Spezial. The New Year's Eve programme in 2020 was also held again. Since 13 January 2021 eight issues have been shown We are Emperor: News from the Court Chancellery. Lilian Jane Gartner took over the role of Crown Princess Leopoldine.
