Serrallonga, the legend of the bandit was a Spanish television miniseries of Catalan origin that consisted of two episodes and was based on the life of the famous bandit Joan Sala i Ferrer. It was directed by Esteve Rovira and co-produced by Television of Catalonia, Spanish Television and Oberon Cinematographical. The premiere of both chapters, originally in Catalan, took place between 6 and 7 November 2008 on Autonomous TV of Catalonia, TV3. Two years later, in December 2010, La 1 de Televisión Española did so.
