Plot.
This story is about Mick, a sleeping chironomid. Insects are taken up into space for use in experiments by humans. An epic space adventure of Mick and his friends of their journey back home to Earth.
The development plans and experiments are aborted by humans for no known reason, the organisms are left behind in the space station with limited resources. Going over hurdles and fighting through challenges, together, they travel across planets and gain new comrades, heading for Earth. As their journey progresses, the mystery behind the human’s abandonment unravels…

Susanne Freund (born 15 March 1954 in Vienna as Susanne Egginger) is an Austrian screenwriter and director. Freund attended the Bundesgymnasium Zirkusgasse in the 2nd district of Leopoldstadt in Vienna and then studied chemistry at the University of Vienna. After completing her studies, she was responsible for organization and PR work at the Künstlergemeinschaft Werkhaus Wien from 1979; from 1984 she worked in various fields in film and theatre productions; since 1990 she has been working as a screenwriter and director.
