Heroes Reborn: Dark Matters is a six-part web series linked to the fiction Heroes Reborn, of which it is a prequel.With the aim of explaining what happened after the end of Heroes and introducing to the events of its follow-up, it was published in July 2015, two months before the debut of Heroes Reborn, through an application for Apple mobile devices and with Android operating system. On August 10, 2015, it was also made available on the NBC website and its YouTube channel.
