Plot.

In 1350, Peter I, born in 1334, succeeds his father Alfonso XI on the throne of Castile and Leon, to die only 19 years later, murdered by his brother Henry of Trastámara. Peter I will be the first king to swear the Basque furies before the tree of Guernika. With him Castile obtains the hegemony of the wool trade to the detriment of Flanders. Moreover, he forces the nobles to pay a salary to his peasants.
