Jalal enters prison on trumped-up political charges due to his writings. After a while, he escapes from prison and crosses the Lebanese border. He then meets Qasim, who works with a group in the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance against the Israeli occupation army, while Jalal's wife divorces him in absentia to marry Colonel Nazim.
